Dance Studio Rules

A few simple rules keep our studio a fun, focused, and safe place for every dancer. Please review them with your dancer before class.

🎀
Rule 01
Wear Appropriate Dance Attire

Hair MUST be pulled back. Wear stretchy clothing that allows for movement. Dance shoes are required for class.

🚫
Rule 02
No Gum or Food in the Studio

Snacks should be eaten outside or in the waiting room before, after, or between classes.

👂
Rule 03
Listen While the Dance Teacher Is Talking

No talking while the teacher is talking — this includes quiet conversations with neighbors.

👀
Rule 04
Pay Attention at All Times

No tumbling, running, or goofing off during class, especially while learning choreography or when the teacher is speaking.

🚻
Rule 05
No Leaving Class

Drinks and bathroom breaks should be taken before or after class. Please do not ask how much time is left in class.

🗑️
Rule 06
Clean Up After Yourself

All trash must be thrown away. Anything brought into the studio must leave with you — please do not leave clothes, shoes, or personal items behind.

❤️
Rule 07
Be Respectful to Teachers and Teammates

Dance should be a fun and safe place for everyone. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. To help support this, parents are not allowed in the studio during class. We will let parents in the last few minutes to take any videos needed. You are welcome to watch through the viewing windows.

🏆
Rule 08
The Teacher Is the Choreographer

Please do not question or add to the choreography. It is always polite to thank your teacher after class.

Sibling & Waiting Student Reminder

Waiting at the Studio

If you have students who are waiting during a sibling's class, please talk with them about respecting the studio space. We have had several incidents of children playing in the drinking fountain, which has caused damage to the floors. Please also remind them not to play with the lock on the door. There has also been damage to the brick fencing and retaining wall outside.

It is absolutely okay to wait at the studio; however, students should either play outside or bring a quiet activity to do while waiting for their class or their sibling to finish.

For safety reasons, the studio cannot be responsible or liable for students who are left unattended.
